David Wayne Hollowell is a Northeast Texas Singer Songwriter living in Marshall, Texas. Crafted from influences of bluegrass, Americana, gospel, and honky-tonk, David's musical style lures listeners with heartfelt lyrics that tell the stories of common folk enduring the ups and downs of life in the rural south. 

Heavily influenced by his grandfather, a singer who played guitar, mandolin, and fiddle, David Wayne's first public performance was in church when he played Amazing Grace at the age of nine. A favorite memory of David's is growing up sitting next to his grandfather in church so he could hear and learn to harmonize. His musical interests blossomed further during his time attending Texas A&M University, where he was exposed to Texas singer songwriters and he began playing publicly in local taverns. Today, David Wayne's music still reflects his musical journey, ever expanding with each twist and turn life brings. 

Recently David Wayne has formed a band, the Sons of the Pines, comprised of talented and experienced musicians who also call the Piney Woods of East Texas home.
